Obatare graduated from Igbinedion University Okada with a second class lower degree in Law and then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja for her Bachelor in Law.

Akpofure Obatare’s hobbies includes reading and carrying out legal research.

She has previously worked as a legal services clerk at Chief E.L. Akpofure Law Firm, Warri, Delta State between 2009-2010 where her responsibilities were:

-Keeping legal records for court proceedings.

-Drafting court summons papers for clients

-Ensuring clients have been paid in civil cases.

-Managing the budget for claims.

-Moderating compensation packages for employees in the claims department.

She did her National Youth Service (NYSC) with the legal department of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC) in

Akure, Ondo state between 2010 and 2011.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
